Send It Back! Though Dewalt's generator is the best there is, please keep in mind that you are buying this product from Amazon. In our case, we did not know the unit itself was damaged in shipment, though there was minor damage to the box in which it came, until after we tried to start it. In order to start it, we had to put oil in it. Because we put oil in it, Amazon would not back up the purchase. We were completely on our own. In other words, if there is any minute evidence of damage to the container in which it is shipped, do not give Amazon the benefit of the doubt. Assume the unit is worthless. Send it back. |
