Currently, the Troy-Bilt generator line is available exclusively at Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouses nationwide. With number of mergers and buyouts, Troy-Bilt is now a wholly owned brand company of the MTD company; one of the largest outdoor equipment manufacturers in the world. In 2001 MTD bought the Troy-Bilt tiller and mower business from Garden Way, which had regrettably filed for bankruptcy.
